You too can become part of our leading orthopedic clinic as a Head of Research Group Shoulder, Elbow and Hand Surgery 100% | Leading research projects in orthopaedic shoulder and elbow surgery in all aspects from planning to data analysis and publication according to GCP Managing the employees (study assistants, research assistants, data manager, research associates, students, external collaboators) of the research group in all organizational, administrative and personnel matters Consulting and liaising closely with clinicians of the Shoulder and Elbow group, to assist with and guide their research projects Presenting research results at national and international conferences Preparing manuscripts for peer reviewed journals Collaboration with other research group heads Further development of the research strategy of the clinic and interest in new technologies (AI, robotics) Budget responsibility and acquisition of funding | PhD or equivalent with some years\\\' postdoctoral experience, in a topic relevant to musculoskeletal medicine (e.g. medicine, epidemiology, biology, health sciences) Substantial national and international scientific record (peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, funding) demonstrating expertise, excellence and achievement in your field Excellent knowledge of all aspects of the clinical research process from planning through data analysis to publication, in accordance with GCP Knowledge of human orthopaedics research and in particular shoulder and elbow outcomes research would be beneficial Strong analytical skills and sound knowledge of statistical methodology, with experience in the management of large datasets and execution of high-end, multivariable statistical analyses Good knowledge of Stata and / or R Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize day-to-day tasks, meet urgent deadlines and work with a variety of staff and teams Established network with other university and non-university research institutions Experience in managing other employees German (spoken and written, minimum comprehension) Fluent English (spoken and written, especially scientific/medical English) Excellent communication and social skills, and a sense of responsibility Passionate about research and team management | A responsible and diverse job with the opportunity to take on many exciting challenges.
