Role Summary
As Head of Insurance, you will be responsible for the P&L of the Insurance business at GFT Switzerland, reporting directly to the Country Managing Director. You have a strong network of decision makers at major Insurance companies in Switzerland and you are able to position GFT as strong technology partner to generate new business. At the same time, you bring a long account management experience as well as strong execution skills enabling you to lead and work hands-on complex client\\\'s proposals.
Responsibilities
Responsible for P&L of Insurance Client Unit at GFT Switzerland
Acquisition of new Insurance clients in Switzerland
End-to-end responsibility for the management of existing clients (account management), with ultimate accountability for sales and delivery
Generate, lead and execute major sales initiatives, efficiently and with high conversion rates
Drive client relationship management, both strategically and operationally
Develop and lead successful business cases with clients, partners and other GFT business units
Act as Bid-Manager and main contributor for client offers (e.g. RFPs, solution offers)
Hire and develop other employees with account management responsibilities
As part of the Swiss management team, act as role model for direct reports and other employees
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in the delivery of IT Solutions (projects), ideally within an established consulting firm
3+ years experience in a similar role with a strong sales track record: acquisition of new clients and growth of existing clients within Insurance business
Humble and entrepreneurial attitude
Relevant relationships network with decision-makers in Insurance industry in Switzerland
Strong skills in the elaboration of high-quality client presentations and offers
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able influence at all organizational levels
Bachelor\\\'s degree preferably in science, combination with an MBA is a strong plus
Fluent in German and English, additionally French and/or Italian are a plus
Strong knowledge of MS-Office
