If so, we would like to present you the opportunity to join our HQ Geneva-based team as a Head of Facility Management & Maintenance.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
Reporting to the General Services Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of workspace management, construction and maintenance on our sites of Plan-les-Ouates and Le Brassus.
You will lead a team of professionals, coordinating construction and maintenance activities as well as managing extremely complex and cross-functional projects.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
Construction & Workspace Management
Manage construction and renovation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, Swiss construction norms, quality and Vacheron Constantin sustainability standards
Manage a wide range of stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issue or conflict that may arise
Monitor project budgets and costs, reviewing expenditure against approved budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing appropriate measures to control expenses
Plan and design workspace projects in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
Build solid partnership with Swiss and Geneva authorities
Collaborate closely with Group Functions
Facilities Maintenance
Plan and manage the inspection and maintenance of facilities, related infrastructure, electrical and mechanical equipment, as well as production machinery to ensure that the sites run operations without undesired disruptions and at optimal capacity level
Define budgets based on maintenance requirements
Define the maintenance annual targets and objectives and lead and monitor their achievements
Oversee the selection and management of subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors. Negotiate contracts, review performance, and maintain strong working relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Management & Continuous Improvement
Lead a team of construction and maintenance professionals, including project managers and maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support and feedback
Carry out projects and transformation initiatives in line with Maison\\\'s business needs and to improve its operations, agility and efficiency
Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality outcomes
Measure and analyze overall efficiency
Stay up to date on industry regulations, permits, and legal requirements. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, permits, and environmental regulations
Prepare the future: define in more detail the design, missions, operating modes required in a co-construction and collaboration mode
REQUIREMENTS
University degree in Engineering, architecture or equivalent.
Proven track record of managing complex and cross-functional projects and cultural changes in a matrix organization
Ability to build valuable stakeholder relationships and act as a business partner
10+ years\\\' experience with solid people management experience
Exposure in Swiss manufacturing or plant operations including exposure to industrial engineering and maintenance strategy and operational maintenance of production equipment
Fluency in English and French (spoken and written)
Articulated and effective communicator with great presentation, analytical, sound project & management skills
Energetic and passionate individual with growth mindset
Strong system and analytical experience
Demonstrable commitment to continuous improvement with a high degree of initiative
