Responsibilities of you and your team to include but not limited to:
\\xc2\\xb7 Regulatory monitoring - sanctions and AML
\\xc2\\xb7 Periodic or occasional account reviews
\\xc2\\xb7 Regular, high level due diligence for high-risk/PEP client + their annual review
\\xc2\\xb7 Advise and assist the Front Office on AML issues + alerts
\\xc2\\xb7 Daily sanctions alerts management, screening, escalation as appropriate
\\xc2\\xb7 Monthly analysis of clients on internal Watchlist
\\xc2\\xb7 Periodic or occasional account reviews
\\xc2\\xb7 Manage the communications to the Swiss authorities as regards the identification of money laundering and/or terrorist financing
\\xc2\\xb7 Analysis and the processing of new relationships with 3rd parties and business introducers
Profile:
- Higher Education such as FH/University degree in law or economics or an equivalent education (e.g. Diploma of Advanced Studies in Compliance Management) - At least 6-8 years+ working experience as a Senior Compliance Officer (looking to step up to a head role) or currently in a Head of Compliance position today, seeking a fresh challenge - Your experience should include in particular in relation to transactions monitoring and investigations along with a thorough knowledge of AML regulatory requirements (Swiss Banking regulations + FINMA a must) - Strong analytical skills and mind set with the ability to work thoroughly, flexible and independently - Good communicator, leadership skills and with an active attitude taking full ownership of his/her tasks and area of responsibility - Solution-oriented with a pragmatic approach and readiness to closely work with colleagues and stakeholders, internally and externally - Happy to coach and mentor more junior team members as needed and of course be responsible for their appraisals and career development - Ability to prioritize and to take clear decisions - Happy in a small to medium-sized structure where you will need to be flexible and go the extra mile as well as agile and used to pressure and stress - Fluent English and French - Already based in the Geneva area and a Swiss resident
