Despite being a startup, Circular\\xe2\\x80\\x99s management has over 30 years of experience in the design, construction, and commissioning of manufacturing plants. Most of these executed projects are based on renewable feedstock. The team has developed numerous process technologies for industrial gas/liquid and liquid/liquid reactions.
Tasks
As Circular Energies is a startup, this position will need to face different challenges among them:
promote jet reactor for industrial gas/liquid and liquid/liquid reactions
create solution proposals based on Circular\\\'s technologies
hands-on and capable of dealing with sales, product stewardship, process technology knowledge to propose business opportunities and corporate finance background to a proper assessment of costs and cash flow development
negotiate strategic partnership
value based pricing
develop licensing technology contracts
search and prepare applications for loans and grants especially in the US and Europe including technology description and cash flow analysis
Requirements
+5 years of practice experience with jet reactors for industrial gas/liquid and liquid/liquid reactions.
+10 years of experience in business development and strategic marketing positions in market listed chemical companies in bio renewable chemicals, solvents, surfactants, oleochemicals and base petrochemicals (natural gas, naphtha, ethane, propane, olefins, aromatics, polymer monomers and commodity polymers).
+10 years of experience as head/responsible of strategic marketing or business development or new business development whose main functions were:
Research on industry trends and adjacent businesses
Technical, economic, and key success factors analysis of strategic options
Technical, economic, and key success factors analysis of new technologies mainly in renewable chemicals
Strategic partnerships negotiations and development
Value based pricing
Formulating and monitoring company strategy and leading presentations to the board of directors
Business plan modelling for organic opportunities and M&A
Focal point for investment banks and M&A
Led and approved chemical projects whose investments > CHF 100 million
+5 years in cosmetic, personal care, home care and paints & coatings global markets
+5 years of experience in global process technology licensing business
+3 years as a global executive key account manager
+3 years of finance manager experience to support the startup in healthy growth.
Good understanding of process technologies in different supply-chains in chemical industry to bridge potential solutions based on Circular\\xe2\\x80\\x99s technologies
Hands-on and capable of managing sales, product stewardship and marketing, pricing, process technology knowledge to propose business opportunities and corporate finance background to a proper assessment of costs, project valuations and cash flow.
Bachelor\\\'s degree in chemical engineering and/or chemistry
MBA or Master in corporate finance is mandatory as projects are usually capital intensive and business case valuation is key to discuss with partners.
