\\n On behalf of our client, a well-known Group of Greek Restaurants all over Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and dynamic Head Chef, to lead the kitchen of their Greek Meze Restaurant in the center of Zurich.
Job Description:
Menu planning based on Greek heritage
Developing a long-term strategy
Expediting orders and managing the kitchen in a clean, organized manner
Employing food safety best practices and making sure that kitchen staff do the same
Coaching the Sous Chef and kitchen staff so that they perform at their best
Keeping up with cooking trends and restaurant business to ensure that guests have a positive experience
Ordering supplies to stock inventory appropriately
Communicating clearly with managers, kitchen and front of house staff
Being able to work independently, quickly and accurately during busy periods.
Candidate\\\'s Profile:
Degree in Culinary Art
5+ years of Restaurant experience as a Head Chef
Very good knowledge of Greek and English
German is a plus
Strong organization and problem solving skills
Excellent leadership skills
Willing to modernize the Greek cuisine
Knowledge of Greek wines is a plus
International working experience is a big plus.
