On behalf of our client, Swisslinx is looking for a hands-on and experienced Group Head of IT to be responsible for developing and leading the IT strategy.

Your mission

- Ownership of the Group Software Application Landscape and Strategy
- Architect Software Solutions and manage the delivery to satisfy the business needs across group activities
- Ensure Business continuity of critical trading applications
- Creation of a Software development team to suit strategy and support the business needs.
- Support legacy systems, and propose road map for replacement and enhancement
- Propose the Future IT Strategy and deliver on milestones
- Manage software licenses and data subscriptions for the group
- Prepare Project proposals and budgets for Group wide projects, such as Group Accounting System

Your background

- Several years of experience in a similar role preferably within the commodity trading & natural resources sector or a company with industrial assets
- Solid knowledge of ERP(s) and C/ETRM
- Strong experience in IT Infrastructure management
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity Azure would be advantageous
- Hands-on attitude, being able to operate at a strategic level while still being involved in operational matters
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Fluent in English
