The role will take place at the company headquarter in Zug. Your tasks
Regular visits to the vessels to do operations walk throughs and identify cost savings.
Understanding of onboard SOPs
Performing regular inventory counts, cash counts and ensuring that SOPs are being adhered to onboard the vessels.
Setting up financial procedures and ensuring correct controls are in place for cost approvals.
Performing internal audits within the accounting teams to ensure that financial SOPs are being adhered to.
Querying new budget spend, new contracts, CAPEX spend.
Ensuring correct set up of onboard systems.
Involvement in the budget and forecasting process.
Requirements:
Previous hotel experience
Ability to show how cost savings can be achieved.
Excellent communication skills
Experience with creating SOPs.
Strong personality to be able to achieve cost savings.
