Job Description
About the role:
As the Global Supply Chain Excellence Intern, you work within the performance management function to empower the management process across Global Manufacturing and Supply and Takeda. You will partner with key stakeholders, regional and plant heads across several regions and operating units. You will define and track metrics, align with leadership on targets cascading from global manufacturing strategy and manage performance tracking metrics against targets to support appropriate digital solutions. You will report to the Global Supply Chain Business Excellence AGILE Lead.
How you will contribute:
Identify and recommend global best practices to ensure Global Manufacturing and Supply achieves targets.
Work with Subject Matter Experts on Performance Management Business Intelligence and Capability Building
Contribute to development and optimization of Global Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators and the related performance management process by supporting performance dialogues and best practice sharing
Contribute to small and mid size projects in the area of Performance Management, Business Intelligence, and Capability Building
Provide insight to the Global Manufacturing and Supply dashboard and maintain improvement to the Global Supply Chain dashboard and its future evolution.
Strengthen the existing Global Supply Chain reporting solution on the SAP BW platform and Qlik.
Share capability building, framework and structure within performance management to contribute best practices at the supply chain network meeting and communities.
Provide set-up and maintenance of capability building material repository/platform
Provide training
What you bring to Takeda:
University degree (BSc, MSc or similar) in Supply Chain, Engineering, Management or IT
Prior relevant work experience would be ideal but not required
General knowledge of Supply Chain, performance management, and capability building would be ideal but not required
Experience or curiosity in the area of digital and supply chain systems (SAP BW, Qlik, Power BI)
Experience or curiosity in the area of Value Stream Mapping / E2E value streams
Fluent in English both verbally and in writing is required
