A day in a life of a Global Supplier Portal Lead:
- Develop and implement a supplier portal strategy that aligns with the organization\\\'s goals and objectives.
- Identify and prioritize supplier portal features and functionality based on supplier needs and feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the supplier portal with other procurement systems and function processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
- Analyse supplier portal data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in supplier portal technologies.
- Collaborate with IT and procurement stakeholders to trouble shoot technical issues.
- Facilitate supplier onboarding and training.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify future supplier collaboration opportunities across the source to pay flow; and translate these to future supplier portal opportunities.
- Ensure up to date supplier information and day to day supplier portal maintenance to ensure reliable smooth operations.
- Ensure vendor portal compliance to business and industry regulations.
- Bachelor\\\'s degree in relevant field, business, supply chain or procurement.
- 5+ years of experience in supplier portal management or a related field.
- Proven experience in supplier relationship management and familiarity of procurement processes and leading practices.
- Strong analytical and technical skills and the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making-- experience with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies and their application a benefit
- Experience with supplier portal technologies, such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, TradeShift, Zycus or Oracle and familiarity with cloud-based supplier portal platforms, such as AWS or Azure
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills, as well as strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and motivate others
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across regions/teams and in virtual teams.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Fluent Spoken and Written English (level C1 in the Common European Framework.) Other languages are a plus.
