The British School of Geneva is seeking to recruit an outstanding Geography and ICT teacher (Separately or in combination), from 25th August 2023 for the full school year on a Fixed Term contract basis. Geography Teaching 10 Class Contact hours per week : ICT Teaching 10 Class Contact hours per week.

Geography and / or ICT Teacher : Provision of scheduled Staff Duties, Form Tutor and After School Activities
The key professional and personal qualities required for this position are :
Essential:
BSc. in Geography and / or ICT. Ability to teach GCSE Geography (Key Stage 4)
Proven prior esxperience in teaching either or both Subjects through English at Secondary level or equivalent.
The proven ability to contribute to and work effectively within a Subject department and broader staff community.
The proven ability to maintain accurate data, records and Curricular Schemes of Learning.
The proven ability to energise student learning and experience ensuring high level of student development and improvement.
A proven facility with using relevant Information technology and complying with in-house systems of recordkeeping.
A proven ability to provide additional contribution to student experience beyond the mainstream curriculum.
A 10 Year Personal Background Police Clearance record (to include International child protection certificate or equivalent).
2 written References from professional Referees.
A current Work Permit to work in Switzerland or residency in Switzerland or as a Frontailer.
Desirable:
Ability to teach Geography and / or ICT at KS 3
Ability to teach both subjects
