Job Description
Job Purpose:
This is a 1 year Maternity leave cover. The FP&A Manager is a critical member of the Finance Team and a cross-functional leader in Canada Goose EMEA transformation journey. This leader is responsible for the preparation of regional management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and ad-hoc reporting/analysis to management. Establish KPIs and instruments to monitor them timely. Proactively develop and maintain data analysis over sales and cost and improve current reporting and FP&A processes. Monitor SG&A on a monthly basis and share with stakeholders the status of current spend compared with planning, including relevant comments to drive the budget owner through the results. Manage any new report request independently. Proactively support the business with any useful insight and/or analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Director FP&A and the leadership team in all data-related aspects of Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
Responsible for the preparation of consistent and reliable financial data with comparison analysis for the monthly Regional Financial Statement review meeting with HQ
Be a business partner to Canada Goose Department\\xe2\\x80\\x99 Owners in reviewing, analyzing and interpreting financial and budgetary information such as Marketing, Services, IT, Sales and Logistic
Responsible for financial analysis for the SG&A departments, providing relevant highlights on results
Responsibility for maintaining and developing the forecasting system (Anaplan) and reporting tool (D365)
Work closely with headquarter finance team to assist and lead the preparation of monthly financial reports
Actively support the SG&A organization with related metrics, financial analysis, including headcount actuals and variance analysis
Provides financial advices, investment support based on guidelines, drive cost reduction programs to achieve cost goals and achieve profitability targets committed in financial plans
Develop and lead initiatives to digitalize workflows
Sign and authorize purchase orders;
Ability to translate data into meaningful and actionable reports
Self management for ad hoc analyses preparation, as needed
Other related duties and required or assigned.
Experience, Education and Designations:
Finance Qualifications (CA, CPA or CIMA)
5-10 Years\\xe2\\x80\\x99 experience of relevant analytical experience in a medium sized team
IFRS Working knowledge, any other financial reporting standard beneficial
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:
Computer & Systems \\xe2\\x80\\x93 Fluent in ERP systems, Anaplan and Microsoft D365, preferable. Standard software packages such as MS office (High Excel skills required)
Significant analytical skillset, including the utilisation of BI and reporting tools
Strong financial accounting, process, and organizational skills
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to manage tight schedules, prioritize, juggle tasks and plan according to business needs.
Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines
Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make the necessary decisions to move forward the work at hand
High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts
