OPTIML is building the next generation of software for intelligent cost and CO\\xe2\\x82\\x82-conscious investment decision support in the built environment/ real estate. We spun out of ETH Zurich in fall 2022 and raised our $1.6m pre-seed from top-notch US & EU funds: Innovation Endeavors (San Francisco \\xe2\\x80\\x93 fund of former Google CEO Eric Schmidt) and Planet A (Berlin).
Our ambition is to enable real estate owners/ investors to create transparency on their existing asset portfolio base, support investment decision-making and renovation planning, optimize their asset and portfolio management and anticipate long-term regulatory compliance.
Where we currently focus our efforts
We have been ramping up our team significantly from the original 2 founders to nearly 15 employees in Business, Tech and Product. Thus, we currently ramp-up the company, develop and roll-out the strategy and \\xe2\\x80\\x9cbackbone\\xe2\\x80\\x9d to accelerate exponential growth.

Tasks
Support OPTIML\\xe2\\x80\\x99s Co-Founders in being their most effective selves and function as a valuable sparring partner (i.e., all aspects of developing a Climate Tech startup in B2B SaaS software right after Pre-seed closing)
Primary focus: Own and execute strategic projects with any possible scope or topic (e.g., business, sales and go-to-market, strategy and business development, fundraising and investor management, product growth, marketing and social media, etc.).
Secondary focus: Drive various day-to-day tasks and systematic ramp-up of the organization, such as (selection only): Sales (e.g., analyze leads, detail sales strategy), Marketing & PR (e.g., support C-Level communication, organize trade fairs), IR (e.g., prepare Board meetings), HR (e.g., manage applications and recruit team members), Finance & Accounting (e.g., plan budgets), Ops (e.g., identify opportunities for process optimization)
Requirements
You worked in a Top-Tier consultancy (MBB) for least 3-4 years (i.e., (Senior) Consultant) with broad project experience (e.g., strategy, sell/buy-side, operations)
You constantly push(ed) yourself towards extraordinary achievements (professionally and/ or in life)
You gained relevant experience in Net Zero/ Decarbonization, ClimateTech/Energy, Real Estate/ Buildings/ Construction and/or B2B SaaS / Software
You are passionate about making a meaningful impact towards tackling Climate Change
You are willing to take on a new challenge in a small, but fast-growing organization with a high degree of freedom and uncertainty
You are a pro-active, entrepreneurial personality with strong communication skills, who takes ownership, is not afraid of rolling-up sleeves and getting things done, always willing to go the extra mile
You are prepared to work independently for the first stretch and then be able to grow, mentor, and lead your team
You are a strong builder of trustful networks and effective relationships
You have an international mindset and cross-cultural management competencies
You are a team player, willing to deliver as part of a high-performance team (with diverse roles/ backgrounds), and passionate to celebrate milestones and success
You are fluent in both, English as well as German (French is a plus)
You are willing to work a relevant amount of time in Zurich (HQ) in the beginning, to visit clients in an increasingly growing footprint, but are also open to working remotely
