CONTEXT

The sports market in Switzerland is full of potential. There are two main insights worth sharing:

69% of the population claims to practice sport \\xe2\\x80\\x9cseveral times a week\\xe2\\x80\\x9d. This makes the Swiss belong to one of the most sportive populations of the world.

76% of the population is buying goods or services online at least once per month. The number of customers using digital channels to prepare their purchase is growing every single day. Switzerland is the fourth market in Europe in terms of eCommerce penetration.

Taking this context into account, we have been building a Swiss eCommerce team. This team is the front-runner in the digital transformation of Decathlon in Switzerland and has different responsibilities. In this team, you will find talented teammates in charge of customer acquisition, data, front-end and UX, logistics, customer service, marketplace, retention, and loyalty.

At the same time, and as part of our commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, we are undergoing a significant logistics transformation to optimize our warehouse operations. This transformation aims to enhance order processing efficiency, streamline inventory management, and improve the overall customer experience.

As we continue to expand and evolve, our finance team plays a critical role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to the company\\\'s overall success. The collaboration between the financial team and the e-commerce and logistic teams is vital to the success of a company\\\'s online retail operations. At Decathlon, we recognize the significance of this synergy and foster a strong relationship between these departments.

The objective for 2027, beginning by 2024 is to reach +30% of digital TO each year.

Figures, DECATHLON SWISS digital = TO +16% & 56 Millions GMV rolling 12 months, the EBIT is quite positive, staff cost 3.7 Millions, 32 teammates, + 9 Millions of marketing & communication digital expenses, that is to say = 12.6 Millions of total budget.

MISSION

As Switzerland\\\'s E-commerce and logistic FP&A overseeing the complete flow, including logistics, you are a key member of our finance team. You are responsible for managing and optimizing the financial processes associated with customer acquisition, order processing, and logistics operations. Reporting directly to the FP&A leader, you play a key role in driving financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning to support our e-commerce operations and maximize profitability.

You are the financial arm of the digital and logistic leaders and a value-creation partner who supports the business strategic plan & company decisions with insightful analysis.

Key responsibilities:

Co-Building a long-term vision:

Support the team and BU leaders to build a long-term vision and business plans highlighting the strategy and work together to identify the risks and opportunities, and steer action adjustments to achieve the goals.

Analyze financial data, market trends, and customer behavior, to provide valuable insights that help shape the e-commerce strategy. This includes budget allocation, pricing decisions, and setting financial targets to ensure the e-commerce team\\\'s initiatives align with the company\\\'s financial goals.

Provide financial insights for investment decisions based on changing market dynamics, business trends and customer behavior.

Animating Business ambitions:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets for e-commerce (upon taking office) and logistics operations (planned in 2024).

Explore innovative financial technologies and systems to enhance financial reporting accuracy, efficiency, and data analytics capabilities.

Monitors e-commerce revenue, expenses, profitability, and other financial indicators, providing the e-commerce team with real-time feedback on their performance. This analysis helps identify areas for improvement, optimize marketing efforts, and enhance overall e-commerce success.

Cost Management and Profitability Analysis:

Conduct profitability analysis for various product categories, marketing channels, and fulfillment methods to drive profitability optimization.

Analyze shipping costs, carrier contracts, and transportation expenses to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

Evaluate and optimize the financial aspects of logistics operations, including last-mile delivery, order fulfillment, and warehouse management. 91

Profil

Bachelor\\\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master\\\'s degree preferred).

At least 5 years\\\' successful experience as a financial controller or similar role in leading companies in the E-commerce market.

I know the digital environment well and can develop the business by using development and data.

Experience in financial logistics, including shipping costs, carrier contracts, and transportation expenses is a plus.

Strong understanding of end-to-end e-commerce flow, including customer acquisition, order processing.

Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling using tools like Excel or Google file, and sensitivity to new technologies such as AI.

Hands-on, focused on action! You are flexible and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You love digging in topics and solving puzzles.

You\\\'re enthusiastic-positive, you smile, you see every change as an opportunity to progress by finding solutions.

Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
