About the Finance Team Lead Role In this role, your next challenge will be to help the Finance team transition from OR to Swiss GAAP. Furthermore, you will be ensuring the continuous improvement of the newly introduced finance system (Abacus). Therefore, ideally you bring 3+ years of Swiss GAAP experience and strong leadership skills to support team members through these transitions.
Key Responsibilities In addition to those two important challenges, you will be managing the Finance department activities:
Monitoring Budgeting and holding internal stakeholders accountable
Develop and improve the Internal Control System (ICS) and Finance Strategy
Responsible for the Aannual statutory accounts, as well as year-end financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER standards
Supervising the AP/AR, Finance and Controlling team (e.g., supervising invoices)
Preparing Annual Audit for closing review
Supervising insurance policies in alignment with company insurance broker
Business Partnering, financial planning and analysis, investments and strategic planning.
Key requirements
Business Fluent English required. German C1 level needed to speak with external stakeholders.
Minimum 2 years of Swiss GAAP experience is required.
Certified Accountant (ACCA, Swiss CPA, Federal Diploma or comparable)
Comprehensive knowledge of Controlling, FP&A and Accounting
Leadership experience or high leadership potential.
Change management or implementation project experience highly appreciated.
Advanced Excel needed.
