Role Responsibilities:
As the Finance Controller, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage a team of finance professionals in the LAC region, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Your expertise will guide the team in achieving financial objectives and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing Budgeting, Forecasting, and Long Range Plan processes in collaboration with business regional functions.
Providing strategic financial guidance to the LAC organisation to support decision-making processes.
Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and consolidation of financial statements.
Identifying key financial trends, variances, and areas for improvement, driving actionable insights.
Collaborating with external auditors to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
Monitoring working capital and providing recommendations for optimising financial resources.
Staying up-to-date with accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Developing and mentoring the finance team, fostering growth and professional development.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and business growth.
Being an active member of the Finance Global Rare Disease Leadership Team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\\xe2\\x80\\x99s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master\\xe2\\x80\\x99s degree or CPA preferred).
Proven experience in senior finance roles within a global/regional pharmaceutical organisation.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards (IFRS, US GAAP).
Proficiency in financial systems/tools (ERP, SAP, Hyperion) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong business acumen, agility, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to collaborate, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English and French, additional languages advantageous.
