Role Responsibilities:

As the Finance Controller, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage a team of finance professionals in the LAC region, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Your expertise will guide the team in achieving financial objectives and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing Budgeting, Forecasting, and Long Range Plan processes in collaboration with business regional functions.
• Providing strategic financial guidance to the LAC organisation to support decision-making processes.
• Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and consolidation of financial statements.
• Identifying key financial trends, variances, and areas for improvement, driving actionable insights.
• Collaborating with external auditors to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Monitoring working capital and providing recommendations for optimising financial resources.
• Staying up-to-date with accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Developing and mentoring the finance team, fostering growth and professional development.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and business growth.
• Being an active member of the Finance Global Rare Disease Leadership Team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\\xe2\\x80\\x99s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master\\xe2\\x80\\x99s degree or CPA preferred).
• Proven experience in senior finance roles within a global/regional pharmaceutical organisation.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards (IFRS, US GAAP).
• Proficiency in financial systems/tools (ERP, SAP, Hyperion) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, agility, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English and French, additional languages advantageous.
