In this role, you are responsible for the design and implementation of embedded software for wireless communication devices. Your tasks

• Develop embedded software in accordance with best practices and Sonova standard operating procedures
• Create and maintain software design documents, user guides, interface descriptions, presentations, introduction documents
• Continuously ensure code quality and clean code, develop new functionalities, maintain and bug fix the code base, maintain an adequate test coverage
• Maintain close collaboration with the R&D teams (DSP, software, electronic), manufacturing engineering as well as CTRL platform owners and engineers in the Headquarter
• Co-Design of interfaces (e.g. interfaces between the DSP and master CTRL, radio chip, sensors\\xe2\\x80\\xa6)
• Dedicated developer for the controller included in the DSP chip from HI and re-used internally for our own products.

Your profile

• BSc in Computer Science or Electrical / Electronic Engineering with strong programming skills
• 3+ years of work experience state of the art software development technologies and tools
• Proficient in C/C++ on resource constrained embedded systems and Python scripting
• Understanding on component level communication interfaces, SPI, I2S
• Team player and able to work in a distributed, diverse collaboration environment
• Self-motivated, pro-active, solution oriented and system thinking
• Excellent command of English; French or German are an advantage
