Lead the development of strategic publication plans and the execution of tactical publication plans for the anti-cancer and oncology pipeline to ensure integration and alignment with communications and brand strategy, timely data presentation at key congresses and rapid publication in peer-reviewed journals.
Review and interpret product data from preclinical, clinical development, real-world evidence, statistics and health economics departments within the client and external investigators to determine appropriate publications for inclusion in tactical publication plans.
Manage, review and edit congress abstracts, oral and poster presentations, primary and secondary manuscripts and slide presentation development from vendors and external investigators to ensure publications are of high quality and adhere to good publication practice and client publication policies and SOPs.Advanced degree of PhD, MD, PharmD or MS in a scientific/medical discipline
Represent the publications team on the Global Medical and Evidence Team, Global Development Team and Global Commercialisation Team, presenting strategic and tactical publications initiatives for the respective product(s) and chairing cross-functional product-specific publications team meetings.
Ensure that all vendors comply with the client\\\'s operational guidelines regarding master service agreements, accounting practices, physician communications and documentation of service agreements.
Adhere to all Good Publication Practice (GPP) and related client SOPs in the development and execution of the publications strategy and plan. Educate and enforce GPP and SOPs across cross-functional teams involved in publications (internal departments, external writers and communications agencies) and ensure that all publications are reviewed and documented through the client\\\'s publication management platform.
Profile
Advanced degree of PhD, MD, PharmD or MS in a scientific/medical discipline
At least 5 years Scientific Publications experience
Disease and therapeutic knowledge in oncology and cardiovascular
Proven ability to think strategically and work cross functionally
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time (international and domestic), including weekends
