We are currently looking for a Director, Inbound Product Marketing, Legal Tech, who will guide the HighQ portfolio strategy in support of the HighQ Product Management team, offering diverse advice to several functional internal teams, in addition to guidance to executives. You will manage a team, focusing on an array of functions including identifying of the portfolio value proposition and associated proof points, developing deep understanding of customer needs, translating needs to internal teams to realize product sales and revenue growth, owning our customer journey identification and persona development, and strategic guidance. This position will require curiosity, creativity, and strategic thinking.
About the role
In this opportunity as Director, Inbound Product Marketing, Legal Tech, you will:
Manage a group of Product Marketing Managers and Associate Managers to achieve the strategic goals of a business segment
Devise business cases for executive level approval
Drive innovation and differentiation across a set of propositions to address current and future client needs
Influence of strategic prioritization of the HighQ portfolio which could include both products and partnerships
Work with cross-functional resources to ensure on-time, in-scope delivery
Gather, prioritize, and analyze client feedback to drive product innovation and increase client adoption and retention
Identify build vs. buy opportunities for a proposition and leverages the organization to execute as needed
Be responsible for developing talent within the department
Work cross-functionally on product launches to assist the Outbound Product Marketing teams
Understand customer NPS scores and drives activities to improve or retain our pNPS scores
Assist in revenue planning and pricing decisions for new products
Have budgeting accountability for the HighQ portfolio, inbound functions
Own the portfolio value proposition along with sub-set product value propositions
Manage a direct team of individual contributors, or managers and be responsible for coaching their development
Lead a virtual team across horizontal teams within development, quality assurance and product managers to execute strategic goals
Review competitive products and initiatives and create strategic responses
Analyze key market trends and competitive landscape.
About You You\\\'re a fit for the role of Director, Inbound Product Marketing, Legal Tech if your background includes:
Undergraduate degree (JD or MBA preferred)
Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret fundamental workings and trends across the Legal practitioner market (Legal, Government and Corporate)
Knowledge of attorney workflows and firm/corporate infrastructure and tools
Proficiency in the development of a unique and compelling proposition
Demonstrated ability to drive a direct and indirect team to execute proposition strategy
Contributing to business planning and budgeting exercises
Negotiation, complex problem solving, conflict management skills
Proven ability to influence internal (horizontal teams without formal authority) and external audiences
Superior client engagement skills, including ability to build and manage client relationships
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a physical or virtual team and develop and grow organizational talent
Demonstrated ability to understand commercial, technological, and strategic drivers in order to execute strategy
Ability to attract, develop, and retain high quality talent.
