We are looking for you as a new member to strengthen the DevOps team. Would you like to run our on-prem applications based on Linux and Windows Server together and put the new cloud-based systems into operation? Together with you, we want to boost the operation and further development of our services!

The area of responsibility ranges from setting up, operating, monitoring and maintaining various applications in the postal network as well as in the cloud. The applications are available to postal customers for the area of national letter and parcel products.

How you make a difference

You are the first point of contact and coordination for fault reports from our customers, users and suppliers, for various applications in the area of private and business customers of letter and parcel products.

If the 1st / 2nd level customer support or the application specialists need assistance with in-depth analyses, you will be happy to help them.

When localizing, isolating and rectifying faults, your technical know-how and understanding of various applications are required.

With your Linux and cloud (AWS) know-how, you will help the DevOps team migrate applications to the cloud.

To support efficient operations, you will develop and install effective monitoring systems.

You are jointly responsible for the operational operation, the documentation thereof, the life cycle and change management and work on the implementation of application releases.

As a vocational trainer of platform developer learners, you share your knowledge and experience with them. You help to support them and integrate them into the world of work.

You actively participate in IT projects and further developments in our DevOps teams. You will also actively support the continuous improvement and quality process. Creating test cases is also part of your tasks.

What you have to offer

You have an education as a computer science EFZ or a higher technical school and have also completed further training in the field of ITIL. You have several years of professional experience in the field of application management.

You score with your indispensable knowledge of Linux OS as well as AWS Cloud, Docker/Kubernetes, SQL and Valuemation. Knowledge of basic Windows Server is an advantage.

You have strong analytical and conceptual skills, work in a structured manner and have a quick grasp.

You are characterized by your high standards of your own work performance and your distinctive team player mentality.

You are willing to do planned weekend work and be available on standby.

You are familiar with supporting tools (Grafana, PRTG, Dynatrace, Splunk, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, etc.) and agile working tools (Jira, Confluence).

You already have experience as a vocational trainer or are open to completing your training.

You have a very good German or English skills. Knowledge of French or Italian is an advantage.
