Costing Specialist is responsible for having a comprehensive costing strategy across the factory, ensuring prompt cost catalogue updates for different business units, ensures timely offers preparation for Customers
This role reports to the Birr Factory Materials Planning & Execution Manager

Job Description

Main responsibilities

- Responsible for providing cost catalogue updates for different business units/ costing tools
- Ensure RFQs (Request for Quotation) and supporting documents are prepared timely, accurately and are in compliance with solicitation
- Liase internally and externally to asure proper understanding of Customer requirements
- Owns the offer lifecycle
- Assist in development of business\\\' cost and pricing processes and procedures, continue to work on model & practice harmonization
- Actively work together with cost calculators, sourcing and planning to simplify & accelerate costing process

Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor\\\'s of Science in Engineering , Business or related area from an accredited college or university, or equivalent qualification / experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing operations and costing
- Proficiency with MS Office tools and web-based applications
