Your profile:

• Good knowledge of forestry in Switzerland
• Understanding of principles of ecology, evolution and genetics
• Excellent communication skills: convincing speaker & efficient writer
• Working proficiency in Swiss German, High German and English; French is highly desired
• Driving license
• Experience in participatory science and questionnaire research is an advantage
• Skills with R, QGIS, Inkscape, website editing are advantages

Your tasks

• Promoting MyGardenOfTrees across Switzerland (and potentially other German speaking countries). Find out more: https://www.mygardenoftrees.eu/
• Recruitment of voluntary foresters using oral and written communications
• Translation and redaction of outreach materials
• Possibility to participate in the development of a follow-up questionnaire research

The offer:

• Physical presence is needed at nearly all times
• Start date: as soon as possible
