Business Law Intern Who we\\\'re looking for
Enrolled University student (Bachelor or Master) at the time of the internship
Currently pursuing a degree in Law, with main focus on Business/Contract/Competition Law
Solid understanding and knowledge of Swiss Law
First professional experience in the field of Law or project management (e.g. internship or part-time position)
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Customer-oriented, proactive, autonomous and with strong attention to detail
Well-organized and capable of dealing with a variety of assignments and deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills
Proficient in English. Fluent in either German or French.
You will join the Law Department of the Swiss affiliate of Philip Morris (Philip Morris Switzerland S\\xc3\\xa0rl) in Lausanne to support the team in daily activities. The objective of the Law Department is to provide first-class legal services to the Company, identify legal and compliance risks and provide management with legal guidance on strategic directions.
Roles & Objectives As an intern, you will contribute to the provisions of such legal services and have the opportunity to be involved in various projects. You will be supporting the Law department, in particular, by:
Conducting legal researches in various fields of Swiss law
Maintaining the Swiss affiliate\\\'s corporate governance framework, administering signature rights, drafting requests to the trade register and preparing Board resolutions
Updating and reviewing contract templates and their translations into French and/or German
Providing trainings on local regulations and internal policies
Managing an online legal platform and preparing newsletters
