We are currently looking for an administrative intern to join our Human Resources department within our Operational headquarter in Basel, Switzerland. Please note that we can only accept applicants who are eligible to work in Switzerland or in possession of a valid work permit.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As an administrative intern in our HR department, you will be surrounded by colleagues who will share their extensive Human Resources expertise
You will be reporting directly to the Director Human Resources
The internship will start in October; the duration is six months
KEY RESPONSBILITIES
As an intern in our Human Resources department, you will assist the Human Resources team with administrative tasks related to employees\\xe2\\x80\\x99 documentation, such as filing, digitalizing information, issuing reference letters and contracts, visa applications, etc.
You will help scheduling interviews for our current recruiting processes
You will be supporting our ongoing projects, while participating in meetings and discussions with the different stakeholders involved
You will help optimizing existing processes and document them
You will play an important part acting as Viking ambassador when interacting with other employees and/or candidates
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Chinese is a plus
You are curious and eager to learn how a global cruise line is organized and what is expected from the Human Resources department
You have a positive personality and like to work in a multi-cultural team
You have solid computer skills, especially in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
EDUCATION
You are currently attending a Bachelor\\xe2\\x80\\x99s or Master\\xe2\\x80\\x99s degree in the field of tourism or hospitality or have recently obtained one
