With a strong focus on the Anti-Falsified Medicines Program, they are driving innovative solutions to detect and prevent the distribution of falsified medicines.We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Authentifield Innovation Scientist for a contract position in Basel, until the end of 2025. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating new analytical chemistry technologies, designing and running experiments, and analyzing data to support the development of advanced pharmaceutical forensics strategies.Responsibilities:

• Technology Evaluation: Assess the performance and potential of new analytical chemistry technologies, including LabScanner Plus and liquid applications.
• Experimental Design: Develop and implement experimental protocols to test and validate these technologies.
• Data Analysis: Utilize Python for data analysis to extract meaningful insights and conclusions from experimental results.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, quality, and regulatory affairs, to ensure comprehensive evaluation and integration of new technologies.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on experimental findings and technology assessments.
• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in analytical chemistry and related fields to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements:

• Education: Ph.D. or Master\\\'s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:

• Proven experience in analytical chemistry and data analysis.
• Familiarity with LabScanner Plus and liquid applications is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, experimental design, and statistical evaluation.
• Experience with system integration and project management.
• Familiarity with falsified medicines detection technologies and methodologies.
• Understanding of data privacy and security standards.
• Strong documentation skills, including creating detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
