This position is located in the Human Resources Unit, under the Division for Operations, in Geneva, Switzerland.
\\nIn accordance with the UN Rules and Regulations. Depending on professional background and experience, the Executive Director reserves the right to appoint a candidate at a level lower than the advertised level of the post.
\\nUnder the supervision of the Senior Human Resources Specialist, the incumbent will perform the following tasks:
\\nA. Preparation of HR related documents, surveys, reports, internal rules and regulations:
\\nB. Recruitment and Placement of personnel:
\\nC. Administration of staff entitlements:
\\nD. Staff development and career support training:
\\nEducation: Advanced University degree in human resources management, business or public administration, or social science.
\\nWork experience: A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management, administration or related area in an United Nations common system organization. Knowledge of Quantum system is desirable.
\\nLanguages: Excellent knowledge of English and French. Working knowledge of a third UN language is an advantage.
