Associate Director Integrated Marketing (100%)

Your contribution
In the role Associate Director Integrated Marketing you will be responsible for development of the global strategic marketing plan and its successful tactical implementation. You will work closely with product and application management teams across all business units as well as regional organizations to define marketing priorities, focus areas, budgets, and timelines for internal and external marketing initiatives to achieve the desired commercial business objectives.

It\\\'s a management level position that includes leading and mentoring a team of Marketing Managers.

Responsibilities will include

• Develop a global strategic marketing plan together with Product Management and Regional Leadership, and be responsible for its tactical implementation in line with the overarching business objectives, resources, and budgets.
• Own go-to-market processes and guide a cross-functional group through the new product and solution launches to ensure global alignment and immediate commercial success.
• Define and execute global marketing campaigns in line with the pre-defined timelines and budgets. Ensure that all marketing collaterals are developed in strict compliance with Tecan global brand guidelines.
• Oversee key marketing and campaign performance metrics, conducting regular reviews at both global and regional levels, and taking ownership of improvements based on lessons learned.
• Work closely with Internal Communications and regional leadership to ensure effective dissemination of commercial and marketing updates among the sales and applications teams worldwide.
• Consult business units on best-in-class marketing strategies and customer advocacy programs; support development of upstream and downstream marketing competencies across the global organization.
• Stay ahead of industry and marketing communication trends and bring innovative approaches to marketing campaign execution.
• Actively manage the network of external partners and agencies to ensure smooth and timely execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Drive teamwork and collaboration across the different business units; ensure creation of synergies and exchange of best practices

Your background

• Life sciences degree is a must along with further education in marketing or business administration. MBA is a strong advantage.
• Experience in Life Science, Diagnostics or Medical Device industry is a must; necessarily in an international environment.
• 10-15 years of working experience in marketing roles with an increasing responsibility; at least 3 years in a leadership position.
• A broad range of marketing expertise, including strategic marketing, campaign development and execution, customer advocacy programs, digital marketing, sales force enablement, global events, etc.
• Track record in building marketing organizations that drive business growth through strategic planning, disciplined execution, and agile operating model.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills to develop talents and build marketing capabilities across the organization.
• Excellent English skills are a must. German or any other language would be an asset.
• Creative and able to inspire others to go an extra mile to achieve excellence in marketing and customer communications.
• Willingness to travel 20-30%.
