In our Retirement business Switzerland, our employees provide comprehensive advice to companies and pension funds in various specialist areas relating to occupational pensions. In Actuarial Consulting, our employees advise clients on the design and financing of their pension funds and related solutions. This includes the actuarial support for governance of Swiss pension funds, considering the legal and financial framework conditions and the specific characteristics of the client.

The role is based in our Lausanne office.

What can you expect?

In this role, you will work with experienced and dedicated colleagues to develop and implement solutions to the challenges faced by companies in Switzerland and Swiss pension funds.

This will involve:

• Analysis and valuation of Swiss pension funds for financial reporting, strategic decision making and risk management
• Working as part of a team with colleagues to support providing excellent client work
• Actively contributing to marketing and research activities to support the growth of the team
• Support and help us continuing to develop our team and our client base

What are you bringing?

• You are a highly motivated person who enjoys quantitative modeling and has a relevant education. You are looking to develop your career.
• You are interested in becoming an actuary and have 0-3 years of professional work experience, ideally in the valuation of pension plans or general consulting or analytical / mathematical studies. Interest in investments and asset-liability models would be an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a given for you. Good French and English language skills are essential, German language skills are an advantage
• You enjoy working in a team and look forward to collaborating with colleagues and clients from Switzerland and abroad. You are curious and willing to try and experience new challenges.
• You have strong project management skills and good organizational skills as well as the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
