Job Description
You will be a member of the Finance Department, reporting to the Responsible of Accounting Team. In this role, you will evolve in a fast-moving environment where performing a wide variety of tasks with a strong focus on accounting and financial reporting. You will use analytics in the day-to-day execution of your work, provide timely and accurate information supporting decision-making and seek to improve processes where possible.
Responsibilities:
Maintain general ledger, prepare journal entries and produce various accounting schedules,
Perform month-end account-closing activities and reconciliations,
Actively participate in the half-year and year-end closing, with responsibility for specific topics and notes to the financial statements. This includes preparation of answers to external auditors,
Take responsibility in accounting projects as assigned by Management,
Propose and implement solutions to various departments and foreign group entities for accounting issues and queries,
Adhere to standard accounting principles and company procedures,
Prepare miscellaneous regulatory filings as assigned.
Qualifications
You have a Bachelor\\xe2\\x80\\x99s degree in accounting,
You have a previous 5 to 6 years\\xe2\\x80\\x99 experience in accounting, ideally with similar exposure (or close to it),
You must be fluent in French and English (oral and written),
You are meticulous, able to collaborate cross functionally and to work on several subjects in parallel, attentive to details with very good organisation skills,
You demonstrate a good knowledge and relevant experience in the field of consolidation,
You have experience with IFRS and generally accepted accouting principles in Switzerland (Accounting Rules for Banks \\xe2\\x80\\x9cARB-FINMA\\xe2\\x80\\x9d is a plus),
Your skills in MS Office (Excel in particular) are excellent,
If you have knowledge of Temenos T24, we will consider this as a plus.
