\\n I\\xe2\\x80\\x99m currently seeking a motivated accounting professional to join a long term client of ours as an Accountant / Accounts Payable Specialist.

In this role you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes, focusing on accounting and accounts payable functions, including invoice management, month and quarter-end close, and preparation of financial statements.

My client is a medium-sized pharmaceutical company specialising in rare diseases. We have an almost perfect retention rate of employees we have placed here. This is due to the development opportunities the provide their employees due to the rapid growth the are going through.

Main Tasks:

• Validate and prepare vendor purchase orders, adhering to Company authorization limits.
• Verify vendor invoices for goods and services in a timely manner and promptly respond to vendor queries.
• Maintain, analyse, and reconcile accounts payable ledger accounts, financial statements, and relevant reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\\xe2\\x80\\x99s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Concur, SAP, Hyperion, and Microsoft PowerPoint is preferred.
• Experience with multi-currency transactions is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver quality results within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
