We are now looking for a Accommodation Coordinator that is part of FIFA and supports us on our mission.
These are your key tasks:
Supports together with other FIFA departments and/or LOC of LFS) the definition of assumptions for hotel rooms, function spaces and other hotel services for specific tournaments and events
Contracts and procures the respective hotel inventory and related services
Achieves cost savings and efficiency gains
Follows operational project plans
Organizes site visits and is involved in on-site operations and hotel management
Supports the respective project teams during preparation, on-site operation and reconciliation phases of each project These tasks are a good start. Time will change. Take it and shape it.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
2 years experience in operations of hotels, conventions or major sport events
Planning, process and business management skills
Contract negotiation and management experience
Project management and communication skills
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in event accommodation management
Structured, analytical and solution driven
Proactive and service-oriented personality, highly self-motivated
High stress resistance and persistency
Ability to work independently and with multi-disciplinary teams
Ability to build pro-active, co-operative working relationships with customers, peers and key stakeholders based on respect and teamwork
Ability to act under strong pressure and to manage crisis situations efficiently
Willingness and ability to travel
Creative and innovative thinking to initiate organisational improvement (efficiency and quality) and to contribute with proposals and suggestions
