PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Maintenance and repair of motors
Maintenance on control boxes
Maintenance on PLC\\xe2\\x80\\x99s, variable speed drives etc.
Maintenance on starters
Run of conduit and wiring
Replacement of parts as needed
Installing and removal of machinery
Know emergency procedures when lights go out in plant
Maintain records and files
Housekeeping
Procedures for lockout/tag out
Clean up at the end of job
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma, General Educational Development Diploma (GED) or equivalent experience
Strong background in electrical
Good work history
3 years\\xe2\\x80\\x99 experience as an electrician in an industrial environment desired
