\\n \\n The Life Science Career NetworkCTC are specialised industry experts who can help companies source the best talent and provide reliable HR and consulting services, support varied candidates in finding promising career opportunities and offer the latest in skill development training programmes.Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is looking for a:3D CAD Coordinatorfor a 12-month contract role, based in the Valais area, Switzerland, with high chances of extension afterwards.Main responsibilities:
- Assisting the Project Manager in managing the execution of 3D model engineering work by external engineering partners to ensure work performed on the project is in accordance with the project requirements, 3D design requirements, BIM execution plan and the specific building concept.
- Participating in 3D Coordination and Milestone model reviews.
- Assigning and tracking tasks for assigned area of responsibility.
- Coordinating the 3D design activities between multiple projects within the same building.
- Assists in design and layout of facility in case Engineering Partners are not fulfilling a competent design.
- Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.
- At least 5 years of experience in 3D Piping Design.
- Ideally a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similars.
- Coordinating major CAPEX projects dealing with multiple designers/ Stakeholders.
- Designing Pharmaceutical Production Facilities.
- Broad multidiscipline technical know-how (HVAC, Process, Electrical, CSA incl. Cleanrooms, Health & Safety)
- English communication, German is an advantage.
- Expert user of 3D Software, such as NavisWorks Manage/ Simulate.
